The High School offers both career and technical education (CTE) and college preparatory curricula to meet the needs of all students. HHS offers challenging honors classes and dual credit courses (both college and high school credit) in cooperation with McHenry County College (MCC).
The CTE curricula prepare students for careers in business, family and consumer science, industrial arts, and agriculture. Dual credit is available in collaboration with MCC for automotive technology, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Nursing, Spanish and more. The High School also offers alternative internet-based learning programs.
High School students can participate in sports, student government, instrumental or choral music, clubs and other extra-curricular activities. The High School guidance department offers career development training and resources to help students choose careers, colleges, tech schools, and obtain financial aid.
