Tuesday the Harvard Junior High 8th grade class participated in Reality Store. The eye-opening experience teaches students essential skills for navigating their future financial lives. Students are given a set income and then tasked with staying on budget while encountering all the challenges that adulthood can bring. Volunteers from the community and school district operate different stations covering areas of life such as housing, child care, groceries, leisure, furnishings, and of course elements of chance.
Thank you to our community volunteers!
