On Monday, eighth-graders participated in Harvard Junior High’s Reality Store. The edifying experience helps students navigate their future financial lives. Students are given a set income and then tasked with staying on budget while encountering all the challenges that adulthood brings. Volunteers from the community and school district operate different stations covering areas like housing, child care, groceries, leisure, furnishings, and elements of chance.
Thank you to our community volunteers!
