High School Credit Recovery

This program supports students in the recovery of credits from the past school year. Students that were close to passing a particular course but fell short, 45%-59%, will have individual plans to complete learning gaps. Students can move at their own pace, meaning if a student completes what's expected they can be done or move on to another course if needed or be done with summer school. Students that received below a 44% will have a modified learning plan that will address essential learning.

High School Credit Advancement

Current High School Students will be able to choose from the following courses for enrichment and advancement through Harvard Academy.

• Civics

• U.S. History

Driver's Education

Eligible Participants:
Harvard High School students who passed at least 8 courses in the previous 2 semesters. Must be 15 years of age prior to June 10, 2023.

Driver's Education is offered at no cost. Behind the Wheel is $200.

ESL Summer DESTINO / Programa de verano de inglés como idioma adicional

The goal of the collaboration with YFC is to increase the acquisition of English as an additional and social-emotional language for our newcomers, in addition to a much-needed provision of services and resources for immigrant families provided by YFC. The goal of the summer session will be to build relationships and establish trust among students, families, and staff who will work with this program.

El objetivo de la colaboración con YFC es aumentar la adquisición de inglés como idioma adicional y socioemocional para nuestros recién llegados, además de una muy necesaria provisión de servicios y recursos para familias inmigrantes proporcionados por YFC. El objetivo de la sesión de verano será construir relaciones y establecer la confianza entre los estudiantes, las familias y el personal que trabajará con este programa.

This program is FREE but has limited capacity. Students register in order of delivery of registrations. It is offered to students in grades 6-12.

Extended School Year (ESY)

The purpose of the PreK-12 ESY program is to provide an educational and social/emotional learning opportunity for identified scholars in authentic learning environments. Students will have additional time to explore interests, gain hands-on experience, and meet other students with similar interests.
