Harvard Community Unit School District 50 announced that Harvard High School Head Football Coach Brad Swanson has been named a Chicago Bears Coach of the Week.
Swanson, who has served as head coach since 2023, earned the honor after leading the Hornets to a 29-21 victory over Big Foot on Aug. 28.
As part of the recognition, the Chicago Bears will donate $2,000 to the Harvard High School football program, and Swanson will be honored on the field at the Bears' Dec. 6 game alongside other Coach of the Week recipients.
