As a part of their study of Holocaust, 8th Grade Students will have the opportunity to hear from local award-winning author Fern Schumer Chapman. Schumer Chapman has written several books about WWII and the Holocaust including fiction and nonfiction.

In Mrs. Hitzeroth’s seventh grade science classes students have been hard at work researching an ecosystem of their choosing, drafting a brochure and then making it come to life on their final project!!

🐿️7th grade science students have been busy simulating the fluctuation of the squirrel populations. It can be a rough life when you’re running from predators, competing for resources and also have to worry about invasive species!

🌧️☀️💨Sixth grade science students have been busy learning about the difference between weather and climate as they rotated through stations!

📚🐝In Ms. Bianchi and Ms. Gardner's class students are reading Touching Spirit Bear.

During science class we tested Newton's laws by designing a car pulled by the force of an air balloon.
We had a very fun and challenging time getting the carts to work properly.
