Sra. Kristi Juarez’s class enjoyed exploring all the wonderful exhibits at The Discovery Center Museum in Rockford last week! Fun was had by all! #CrosBees

Ms. Moore's class added more fun to Letter T is for T-Shirt with Tie-Dye. Students had fun picking the colors and squeezing them onto their shirt. #CrosBees

🧢 Mrs. Dahlke, Ms. Brady, Mrs. Juarez, and Mrs. Robistow's classes designed their own hats as a fun end of the year gift and activity from their teachers. The students had so much fun creating. #CrosBees

Mrs. Williams class had an amazing trip to the planetarium at McHenry County College. #CrosBees

Students in Mrs. Garay and Ms. Mercado's homerooms chose 8 adjectives each to describe their mothers (or another person they care about). They wrote the adjectives on the petals of a flower to be the card to accompany a small Mother's Day present. The students had meaningful discussions about how their parents act and what adjectives go with those behaviors. #CrosBees #HarvardPOG #Empathy

Students from Ms. Woodman and Mr. Ochoa's classes have fun doing an experiment about fossilization, creating their own fossils. #CrosBees #HarvardPOG #CriticalLearner

Mrs. Johannsen's 2nd and 3rd grade students talked about “Where Will Your Wings Take You?” They shared what the want to accomplish in life and some talked about where they would go if they could fly. They had adventurous dreams that will take them to amazing places in the future!

L is for LEGO day! Mrs. Meyer's reading groups practiced reading heart words by building them with Legos! #CrosBees

At the Burpee Museum, 2nd graders learned about different dinosaurs, different habitats in Illinois, and Taxidermy. #CrosBees

🦖On Dinosaur day, students in Mrs. Pecoraro's class used letter sounds and heart words to write sentences about a T-Rex. Then, they followed along with a directed drawing video of a T-Rex to draw the illustration. #CrosBees
