Washington students celebrated El Día de Muertos through hands-on classroom activities, including making and tasting Pan de Muerto, creating an ofrenda, making paper marigolds, decorating sugar skulls, enjoying festive Dia de Muertos music, and decorating a barrilete inspired by Guatemala’s observance of Día de Muertos and All Saints’ Day.
