Happy National Play Dough Day! We love Play Dough at Washington School. We use it daily to develop a variety of important skills such as- -Fine motor skills -Creativity -Focus -Working as a calming tool -Providing a positive sensory experience -Improving independence and critical thinking. -Supporting literacy and numeracy -Improving social skills -Encouraging language development

Wednesday September 11th there will be no school for Washington students. All other CUSD50 schools will be in attendance, but have early release.

Students work on counting through a variety of scenarios every day. From strategically planned small group activities, counting tally results of a class vote during large group, to spontaneously counting students lined up to go outside.
