Mrs. Hay's students celebrated the 100th day of school by completing a couple challenges! 🎉They had to balance on one leg, stare at a friend without laughing, and jump in place- for 100 seconds! They also wrote 100 compliments to staff and students at Jefferson! #JeffersonJourney🐝

How would you build a structure to withstand an earthquake? 🤔 Students in Mrs. Hay's 4th grade class built, tested, and redesigned their structures. They had so much fun learning about this! ☺️

Mrs. Duszak's students worked in groups to solve a division word problem. ➗They had to showcase their work on a poster using two different strategies, and decide what to do with the remainder after interpreting it. Afterwards, they explained their answer and reflected on which strategy they thought was better. 🗣️
