CUSD 50 Staff Spotlight: Ainara Garcia Bosque, Student Support Facilitator at Washington
"I grew up in Majadahonda, a suburban city just outside of Madrid, Spain. I completed my primary and secondary education there before earning my degree in Elementary Education from the Complutense University of Madrid."
"I’ve always believed that education is one of the most powerful tools for creating meaningful change, and I wanted to be part of it. I'm proud to be part of the Visiting Teacher Program—a cultural exchange initiative between Spain and the United States, which has allowed me to grow both professionally and personally. Since arriving, I’ve had the opportunity to learn from different cultures. I truly enjoy the daily exchange of cultures and languages that enriches our school environment."
"What I love most about being an educator is that every day offers a fresh start—a new opportunity to grow and make a difference. It’s a privilege to be part of our students’ learning journey, to witness their progress, and to support them through each step. The lasting bonds we build with “our kids” and their families are what make this work truly special."
"I love that Harvard CUSD 50 is culturally diverse and supports bilingualism. Both Jefferson and Washington Schools have a strong “we are a family” feeling, and I’ve been incredibly fortunate to cross paths with amazing educators, many of whom I now call friends."
"In our preschool building, we love to celebrate every success of our littles—whether it’s with kind words, a high-five, or even a little celebration dance! Creating a space where everyone feels safe, seen, and valued is essential for building a positive environment. Positivity also means showing empathy and patience, understanding that everyone carries their backpack of experiences and challenges."
