Schneider

We're excited to kick off this year's Staff Spotlight recognitions with Kameron Schneider, 4th Grade English Dual Language Teacher

"I grew up in Woodstock, Illinois, and graduated from Woodstock High School. After high school, I attended Aurora University, where I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in elementary education."

"I was inspired to become an educator by the meaningful relationship I built with my 3rd-grade teacher, Mrs. Butler. She made learning engaging and showed me the impact that strong connections can have on a student’s growth and confidence. Those experiences motivated me to create the same supportive environment for my own students. This is now my seventh year teaching in the Harvard district, and I continue to be inspired by the relationships I build with students and families every day."

"What I love most about being an educator is that every day brings a new set of challenges and opportunities. No two days are ever the same, and that constant variety keeps the work exciting and rewarding."

"What I love most about the Harvard School District is the diverse community I have the privilege to work with and the strong sense of family I feel at Jefferson. The relationships I’ve built with both students and colleagues make our school a supportive and inspiring place to be every day."

"Start by finding the good in every day and sharing it with others. A smile, a kind word, or just showing support goes a long way. Positivity is contagious, and when you spread it, it usually comes right back to you."
