Dear Harvard CUSD 50 Board of Education Members,
Today, on School Board Members Day, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of our board members for your ongoing dedication to our students, staff, and the entire Harvard community. You truly sit at the heart of everything we accomplish together in Harvard CUSD 50.
As board members, you assume various roles such as supporters for the district’s education leaders, policy makers, budget stewards, and community representatives. But most importantly, you are our neighbors and friends who have stepped forward to serve. You safeguard two of our community's most precious resources: our children and our tax dollars. Your leadership ensures that Harvard CUSD 50 remains a welcoming, safe environment where all students can achieve great things.
The work you do often goes unnoticed, but the hours spent preparing for meetings, responding to the community, and making difficult decisions shape the future of our district. Your governance provides the focused direction necessary for our district to thrive and improve outcomes for students. You keep us aligned toward our shared goals, creating the conditions for real, lasting improvement that makes a difference in every classroom and for every student.
