Harvard Community Unit School District 50 is inviting residents to be part of the conversation about the future of their schools.
The district is hosting five community engagement meetings this month, giving the community a chance to hear about its successes, its challenges and the road ahead.
Each meeting will feature a presentation on 10 potential improvements the district is considering, along with options for how those improvements might be funded. Attendees will be asked to rank those projects and funding priorities, and those responses will directly shape the district's path forward.
Meetings are scheduled to make participation as convenient as possible:
6 p.m. Wednesday, April 22 | Crosby Elementary School gymnasium, 401 Hereley Drive
10 a.m. Saturday, April 25 | Harvard Junior High School gymnasium, 1301 Garfield Road
6 p.m. Tuesday, April 28 | Harvard High School cafeteria/commons, 1103 N. Jefferson St.
6 p.m. Thursday, April 30 | Virtual Zoom webinar — Register here
6 p.m. Wednesday, May 6 | Central Office Boardroom, 401 N Division St. (in Spanish)
