Harvard Community Unit School District 50 has been voted 2022 McHenry County Top Workplace in the Education category. Each year the Northwest Herald runs this reader's choice contest to nominate the "best" workplaces in McHenry County. CUSD 50 was also voted Top Workplace in 2020.

“Our students and staff make Harvard CUSD 50 a truly special place,” said Superintendent Dr. Corey Tafoya. “This recognition is really credited to the amazing climate and culture our staff has developed in each D50 school building, creating an environment where our students thrive and one our community can be proud of.”

“We have great staff in our district that work hard to meet the needs of all of our students and we appreciate the recognition from the community,” said Harvard Education Association President Korey Coffer.

“#HarvardRising is our hashtag but it’s also the philosophy behind everything we do. We are thrilled that McHenry County residents are recognizing this trend and we are working every day to continue this momentum,” said Superintendent Dr. Corey Tafoya.

McHenry County residents were asked to cast their votes for the McHenry County Top Workplaces Readers’ Choice Awards in late 2022.
