Harvard CUSD 50 presented with Revitalization & Economic Growth Award

Harvard CUSD 50 is proud to announce that the Harvard Chamber of Commerce & Industry has awarded our district the 2022 Revitalization & Economic Growth Award. CUSD 50 Board members Roger Wilhoit, Jennifer Garafol, Mindy Shafer, Sharon McMillan, and Dr. Richard Crosby accepted the award at the annual Harvard Chamber Award Dinner held on February 17th.

According to the Chamber of Commerce & Industry, a few words were said about the importance of CUSD 50’s continued innovation during the dinner.

“A major role of the changes in Harvard are the businesses that are continually innovating and creating ways to bring more people to our community. Whether it be expanding space, renovating classrooms or lockers, to adding turf to the football field, this business is continually growing. Harvard appreciates the hard work this business has done for our community.”

CUSD 50 Superintendent Dr. Corey Tafoya added “One of CUSD 50’s primary goals has been to elevate the performance of our district inside modern, 21st Century learning spaces. This recognition from the Chamber is deeply appreciated as we watch our facilities improve and modernize. Our kids deserve great facilities and we’re thrilled at our progress.”
