D50 Listens Community Conversations Virtual Survey

HARVARD, Ill. — After hosting three in-person community listening sessions, Harvard Community Unit School District 50 is extending the opportunity for all community members to share their thoughts through a virtual survey.

The survey focuses on the district's strengths, challenges, culture, and priorities. The insights gathered will help guide Superintendent Dr. Brandon C. White and district leadership as they work to align district priorities and identify both immediate areas for improvement and long-term goals for the future.

“Community voice is essential to the success of Harvard CUSD 50,” said Dr. White. “The conversations we’ve had at our listening sessions have been authentic and insightful. This survey ensures that everyone, whether or not they were able to attend in person, has a chance to share their perspective and help shape the direction of our schools.”

The listening sessions, held throughout September, provided families and residents an opportunity to engage directly with Dr. White, sharing ideas about what is working well and what can be improved. The district is grateful to all who attended and participated in these important conversations.

Now, with the launch of the online survey, Harvard CUSD 50 encourages continued feedback to ensure shared ownership of districtwide goals. Community input will play a central role as Dr. White develops a comprehensive districtwide plan focused on student success, strong schools, and strong community partnerships.

The virtual survey will remain open until Monday, October 27, at 5 p.m.
