When a student is symptomatic, has a positive COVID-19 test, or is deemed a close contact, the McHenry County Department of Health determines the student's exclusion. Registration is now open for HJH Co-Ed Cross Country, Co-Ed Soccer and Girls Volleyball. Tryouts and practices will begin 8/23 after school. Students will need to be signed up on https://il.8to18.com/harvard and have a current physical on file in order to participate.

This past week, Harvard CUSD 50 Superintendent Dr. Tafoya joined his fellow McHenry County Superintendents in urging the state to release new guidelines for returning to school in the fall. Throughout the past year, we have followed the state's recommendations through our COVID restrictions and remote learning options. As we work to create a plan that keeps students safe and allows them to return to school in person, we are again seeking the state's recommendations and urging them to announce their guidance.
